HEADS Creative & Street Cartel Announce Revolutionary New Performance Model Where Artists Earn 200% Of The Revenue Generated

This December, HEADS Creative is breaking new ground through a collaboration with Street Cartel Studios. Together, they’re presenting two special shows at Jimmy’s in Ancoats, highlighting some of Manchester’s most compelling emerging talent — with a radical new approach at the centre of it all.

In a first-of-its-kind model, artists will earn double the value of every ticket sold. HEADS Creative will match 50% of public sales, and Street Cartel Studios will match the other 50%, putting full financial power back into the hands of the performers. It’s a framework designed to shift the industry — one that other brands will hopefully adopt to genuinely invest in grassroots musicians.

Taking the spotlight will be Roukaya B and Edzor Talez, each set to share new material and recent projects in the intimate upstairs room at Jimmy’s — a cherished haven for Manchester’s music community. Audiences will get the chance to hear unreleased tracks, standout cuts, and celebrate rising voices shaping the city’s future sound.

More than just a pair of shows, this initiative is built entirely around supporting artists first, ensuring 100% of ticket revenue plus the matched contributions go directly into their pockets. And every drink purchased at Jimmy’s helps sustain an independent venue committed to offering performers a free space to play.

These events come together with the support of partners who believe in championing local talent.
